I went to bed last night thinking about why I haven't blogged in a while and I realized I wasn't being honest... The truth is I have heard about so many people having their photos stolen, stories stolen, ideas stolen and I thought "I don't want any part of this".  Other bloggers have had their lives pretty much stolen.  I can't imagine how this would feel to see your pics and your family on someone's page or a companies ads.  I do know how I feel when someone takes a recipe of mine and calls it their own...makes me soooo angry!

I strongly believe in giving credit where it's due.  If you didn't come up with an idea, don't just say thanks when someone compliments you, pay the credit back to the one with the idea.  On this blog, I will never claim anything as my own if it's not.  I get most of my quotes from Pinterest and recipes from magazines and social media.  I won't lie about it, I just want to share them because I think they're that great!

So, there you have it!  The Truth.

It's time to get serious!

Well, I've taken a hiatus and I'm back!  I've got to admit....I got burned out a bit.  I switched gyms (which I still LOOOOOVE), but I got "lost in translation".  I had some really great workouts that flowed really well at my old gym, but they just don't work the same at my new one.  I also got side tracked by new classes, which I love, but the intensity I need just isn't there.  There's only one class that kicks my butt and I need more.  So I guess I have to start kicking my own butt again.

The intensity of my workouts slipped...I quit running for a while to let my knee rest, and haven't been motivated to get on my bike.  I guess most people go through times like this, but this is my first.  I'm back at it now.  I've gone back to crazy good lifting, leg day, back day, bicep get the idea.  And, (sigh) more cardio.  Back to the basics when I first got back to the gym 1 1/2 yrs ago and started putting on some muscle.  And I also think I'm ready to get running again.  The Hubs and I did our own Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving in SunRiver...7 miles.  Not bad for not really putting in any miles lately.  It felt so good, and the best part is my knee didn't bother me at all.  I've started trying to pay more attention to how I'm landing on my feet and staying more on the balls of my feet now.  It sure takes a lot of pressure off of my knees. 

I'm excited about the gym again and I'm ready to get back at it, hardcore!  We do only have about 6 months until summer!!!

Now, to clean up my eating again...been a little too lenient.  Time to reel it back in.
